5 Mistakes You shouldn`t when applying for SCHOLARSHIPS

College is expensive, and no doubt that scholarships can be a big help—but only if you apply to more than a small handful of them. There are thousands and thousands of scholarship opportunities out there—on a local, private, school, and federal level—and so just picking out one or two may not make much of a dent in your college costs.

Pay close attention to the directions to ensure you meet all of the application requirements. Make sure to submit all of the required documents.
APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP: Netherlands/Holland Scholarships 2018/2019 for international students
In addition, pay close attention to the essay question to ensure you don’t answer only part of the question. If anything is missing from your application, you may be automatically disqualified.
-Not checking well before submitting it:
For many scholarships, you can apply online or via email. But once you hit send, you can't make changes.
If you are applying online, check that you have entered all the information correctly before you submit. If you are emailing your application, be sure you have the correct address. And always double check that you've entered your own email address correctly
-Not doing your research well.
Many students aren’t aware of just how many scholarships are actually available out there. Which is why you need to keep tabs on scholarship-focused websites, searchable databases, and social media. Most large companies also offer scholarships to underprivileged students, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
RECOMMENDED: [ STUDY ONLINE ] Apply Free Online University at UoPeople University
- Don't spend money to make money: Don't pay for a scholarship. If a scholarship requires an application fee or any other payment, it's almost certainly a scam. And if you're "guaranteed" an award for a payment, run from the scholarship.

- Don’t apply if you don’t meet the qualifications.
Read the eligibility requirements carefully and make sure you meet all of the requirements. If you do not meet the requirements, the scholarship committee may disqualify you right away and not give you a chance to win the scholarship. Don’t waste your time.
