Engineering & Computer Science International Scholarships: ANU (Australia) 2018 – 2019

The Australian National University (also known as “ANU”) is the top ranking University in Australia and ranked within the top 30 Universities across the globe.
The Australian National University have 2 Scholarships for International students within the College of Engineering & Computer Science:
International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship
International Postgraduate Merit Scholarship
The scholarships will cover 25% of the students tuition fees.
ELIGIBILITY
Please ensure that you meet these minimum entry criteria before applying:
International student
Citizen of a country as specified on the ANU website (varies each year)
Undergraduate students:
Achieved excellent academic results in your last year of school before commencing your studies at ANU
Received an offer from ANU to study towards an undergraduate program (within the College of Engineering and Computer Science)

Postgraduate students:

United State of America Scholarship: University of Hawaii International Merit Award Scholarships 2018

The University of Hawaii is inviting applications for International Merit Award Scholarships. This scholarship is an automatic scholarship awarded to students for each year of undergraduate study.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate programme.

Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship benefits: This scholarship allows students to pay a tuition rate of 150% of the University’s resident tuition rate. (valued at ~ $16,488 per year for each year of attendance)

Undergraduate Merit-based Scholarship for International Students in USA, 2018

See JAMB Registration Closing Date 2018,Jamb Reg Deadline 2018.

Since JAMB began their 2018/2019 UTME and Direct Entry examination registration nationwide on 6th December, 2017, the management has finally come up with a deadline of the ongoing exercise.
JAMB Registration Deadline 2018
The Board recently announced an official deadline for the exercise on their official website.
The official closing date as earlier announced to end the exercise is 6th February, 2018.
All candidates willing to participate in the 2018 JAMB exams are to hurry and carry out their registrations before the deadline of 6th Feb. to avoid been left out.

Therefore, scholarship recipients may consider giving back to help the School conceive, design and implement new initiatives and a better program, as well as create a stronger sense of community. Even a small gift has impact and may change lives.

Eligibility: Tuition waiver is available only to students with an outstanding personal, academic and professional background and meeting the following requirements:
They come from Africa or Mediterranean Area (any nationality from these areas, Italy excluded)
They have a minimum GMAT score of 680
They meet all admissions requirements for the participation in the 2018/19 MBA Program.
Only candidates who applied, producing all required documentation (Application Form, GMAT or GRE equivalent, Toefl or Ielts or PTE or CPE, Reference letters, Admissions Procedure Fee), and have been admitted to the 2017/18 MBA Program are eligible for tuition waivers.

2018 Japan Foundation United Nations University JFUNU Scholarship for PhD students from developing countries in the field of Science in Sustainability, Development, and Peace at United Nations University ISP, Japan.
The Japan Foundation for United Nations University (JFUNU) Scholarship is available for outstanding applicants from developing countries who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance, and they will be considered as candidates for the award of the scholarship.

Selection Criteria and Eligibility
Applicants must be from developing countries who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
Applicants who are currently living in Japan under a working visa are NOT eligible for the scholarship.
Applicants who want to pursue a second PhD degree at UNU-IAS are not eligible for the scholarship.
Scholarship benefits: The JFUNU scholarship covers the full tuition fees, and provides a monthly allowance of 150,000 JPY for living expenses for a maximum of 24 months. Travel costs to and from Japan, visa handling fees, and health/accident insurance costs must be covered by the student.

India Scholarship for International Students at India Alliance 2018

Senior and Intermediate Research Fellowship for International Students in India, 2018. The aim of the fellowship is to supports outstanding researchers of any nationality, either medically qualified or science graduates, who wish to pursue a research career in an academic institution in India.
Application Deadline: January 15, 2018
Course Level: Fellowship is available to pursue research programme.
Study Subject: Fellowship is awarded to support biomedical research that is relevant to human and animal welfare.
Scholarship Award: The fellowship has the tenure of five years and provides:
The Fellow’s personal support.
Research expenses, including research assistance if required (normally funding for four research staff may be requested).
The total award for a Senior Fellowship typically includes the costs requested by the applicant as well as the set contributions by the India Alliance. For further details, see costing policies. Costs requested by the applicant must be commensurate with their research proposal and should be fully justified in the full application. Inadequate justifications may result in costs being revised.
Time permitted for non-research related activity during the fellowship is normally restricted to a maximum of eight hours each week.

UK Law International Scholarship at University of Sheffield [ APPLY ]

The Law International Scholarship 2018 is worth £2,000 per year, subject to the following eligibility and award criteria:
Eligibility and award criteria

  • You must commence your studies of an undergraduate degree or foundation degree in September 2018 in the School of Law at the University of Sheffield.
  • You must receive an offer to study an undergraduate degree or foundation degree in September 2018. The scholarship will be awarded automatically – no application is required in the first or any subsequent years. Subject to meeting the eligibility and award criteria the scholarships will be guaranteed in the first year of study. The award is applicable to each subsequent academic year of study, subject to achieving 60% or above and achieving a minimum of 120 credits in the previous academic year. This excludes any years in industry or study abroad periods.
  • The scholarship can be awarded in-conjunction with any other University of Sheffield scholarship, discount or reward as long you do not become fully funded, for tuition fee purposes, as a result of the sum of these awards and all other eligibility and award criteria are met.
  • The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction only.
  • You must be self-funded and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
  • You must not be a sponsored student*.
  • The scholarship cannot be awarded in-conjunction with any funding (full or partial) from an external sponsor**, excluding a loan, which has to be paid back in full.
  • The scholarships are for full-time and part-time students only. Students studying online or via distance learning are not eligible for a scholarship.
  • Part-time students will receive the full value of a one year of scholarship split pro-rata over the duration of an equivalent single full-time academic year.
  • The Law International Scholarship 2018 automatic scholarship cannot be awarded in-conjunction with an NCUK automatic award. The NCUK award will take precedence over the Law International Scholarship 2018 international scholarship.
